Hi everyone,! I just built a Quad SLI rig.Yesterday I took my dual core AMD X2 4800+out and replaced it with a FX 57. I ran 3DMark6 and came back with a score thats almost 1917 points less than with the dual core.Somethings just not right.I do not seem to be getting the performance that I should out of this machine. I would appreciate it if someone has any ideas. Here's my rigs specs: Motherboard - Asus A8N32-SLI Delux / CPU FX 57 OCed to 3.08 / GPUs 2-Nvidia 7950GX2/ PPU-BFG PhysX card128Mbs / Corsair XMS CL2 Platnum 2 Gigs / Power Supplys- Ultra X Finity 600W SLI-Thermaltake PurePower 300WGraphics only/ Fan &Heatsink Zalman 9500/ 2-Lite On 16X dual layer DVD Burners/3 Mechatronics 120mm AC Fans/ THermaltake Tia Chi Super Tower case /Hp 23inch LCD/ XP Pro
Thanks for taking the time to look. Here's my scores. Frist let me say that I started with 2 GTXs then went to the 7950GX2s I really thought the 7950s would blow away the GTXs but they didn't My GTX scores were 10,587. The 7950s with the 4800dual core was 8927,with the FX57 it came back with a 7010. Somethings got to be wrong.I took the PhysX card out and ran it again,I came back with the same 7010. Thanks,!
