I'm pulling my hair out here. I've developed a lovely
little database for my work using the SprintDB Pro Desktop
Companion 1.5 software. I used this software because we
eventually want all our service techs to have pocket PCs
which will be able to sync with this database.

Anyway, I have developed the database on my desktop
computer and am now trying to access it and/or transfer it
to other comptuers on the network. When I try to access
the database from another computer I get the following
error message:

Error: 004bb9d0 004abbb()
Description: Null

After that, the database opens and I can see all my forms
and tables, but the tables are completely null with no
fields or data. The result is the same if I transfer the
database from my computer to another computer. In short
the database will only work on the computer I used to
create it on. Anyone ever had this problem before? If
so, how can I fix it? Thanks in advance for your help.

William

1. Did you copy the form and the database?

2. Can you create useable forms and databases on the target computers ?
(installation check)

3. If you can create a quick sample on the other machine, can you copy it
to the first macine and run it? (installation compatibility check)

This will at least be a starting point...

The forms are kept in a file separate(sp) from the database - unlike
Access. Hence, be certain that you transfer BOTH files. If memory
serves, the files that you need should be in the SprintDB folder on the
desktop PC.
