Does anyone have any experience with either monitor? I have heard somewhat mixed things about the CM823F, and only the best about the CM828; however I am not sure about switching back to an FST monitor instead if a 'Flat' CRT. (I currently have an HP P910).

Is there still something to FSTs? Several other companies have them as their top CRT, including Eizo's F980.

Alternatives are welcome; but I would prefer a shadow mask.

The cm828 and the cm823f are both build on the chassis. The major differance is the CRT uses. The CM823f uses the HItachi Ergo flat shadow mask CRT. The CM828 uses the HItachi conventinal shadow mask CRT. THe only real benifit of a flat CRT is a small amount of glare reduction.

Good Luck
