HD 7750 and A8-3870K Integrated Graphics Issues

I need to call in the big guns for this problem.

I have (relatively new build):
Biostar TA75M+ Motherboard
A8-3870K
8GB Patriot DDR3
LG BD-ROM
Sapphire HD 7750
Gateway FHD2400 Monitor (1900x1200 @ 60Hz)

When I first built the machine, it was without the 7750. When I installed the latest CCC the screen would become corrupt. After play with it a bit, I finally got it working by uninstalling default Windows Drivers and installing the latest CCC.

I recently installed the Sapphire HD 7750 and the same exact issue popped up only this time I can't get rid of corruption. It looks like what would happen when you selected 8-bit color in windows 98.

Upon further inspection, the monitor tells me it is displaying a resolution of 2400x1200. I change the resolution to other standard sizes and it continues to carry the 2400 and changes the the height correctly.

When I select an HDTV resolution, it will display the correct size (currently at 1080p).

I am suspicious because the integrated 6550 did the same exact thing.

The reason I think it is the driver:
1. Bios is fine, windows splash screen is fine.
2. Without CCC, if I uninstall the card and delete the drivers, after a restart the display is fine (at 640x480) then the auto update activates, the screen flash once, 1900x1200 perfection, twice, and then the third time it all goes to hell in a hand basket.
3. The integrated 6550 did the same exact thing.

Who can help me troubleshoot this?

I can take pictures of the situation or I can post more info.

Thanks for the help.
