I recently had to buy a new PC (old one got zapped, along with the UPS that
was supposed to protect it), and I re-installed NFSPU on it. I had WinXP on
my old PC and on the new one, and the same video card, but the menu text now
is almost unreadable. Is there a setting in one of the .ini files that may
fix this, or a non-EA patch that any one knows of?

I tried that, anti-aliasing, and vertical sync- various combinations of
settings had no effect.

That's what I said- I tried the anisotropic settings and /or anti-aliasing
and/or vertical sync. I tried various combinations of each setting, all to
no avail.
