Hello. I oced my E6300 to 2.9GHz 1.325v with Thermaltake Big Typhoon. I have my FSB at 415 and OCZ Gold XTC at 830MHz 5-6-6-15 2.1V. I left everything else for the memory at auto. CPU idle temp is 24-26C, full load both cores is 41-43C.

Here are the questions, answers will be greatly appreciated thanks!

1. In general, what Vcore does E6300 need to reach 2.9GHz? The stock Vcore was something like 1.16v, from what I've read in CPU-Z, but the BIOS says that the "Normal Vcore" is 1.325V. I know that my memory is limiting my OC because the lowest divider is 1:1, so I just wanna find the lowest possible Vcore for a stable 2.9GHz OC.

2. Command rate, Trc, TRDRAM, and tRCD, I have these at auto, do I need to manually set these values? If so, can someone suggest some good settings of these values? I'm running memory at 415/830.

Those are my questions thanks.

thats a very good vcore for that FSB. And those temps are even better. Keep pushing that puppy. Your safe up to 60c and 1.5ish voltage.

I thought I could lower Vcore a bit more to reduce temp. I think my memory is limiting my OC because it is not intended for OC maybe? And the lowest divider in BIOS is 1:1, means if I push FSB up the memory has to go up at the same time. I'm sure I can push FSB more because my temp looks good, but the memory is really limiting. Maybe If I set vDIMM to 2.3 or 2.4v it ll go up more? I'm not sure. Right now I reduced my vcore to 1.312v. I haven't run dual prime95 for long but I've done superPI 32M. I'm gonna torture with dual prime 95 once I find the lowest possible vcore by reducing it little by little until I cannot boot.

Any advise is greatly appreciated!!
