Hello,

my socket wlan device is not working and I want to re-install the driver.
Unfortunately, I can't remove the program since a file called WLAGS46b.DLL
is in my ROM.

Does anyone know how to remove this file?

Thx, Ingo

Ingo,

If there is a file in ROM, you won't be able to remove that file. However,
if you re-install the driver, it should overwrite what is in RAM and get you
back going again. Lastly, sometimes these things are listed in the
ActiveSync add/remove program list. You might want to check there and see
if you can uninstall it there.

Regards,

Here's what I would do if it was a socket CF or SD card. I'd remove the
card from my device, soft reset, then go to Start>settings>remove programs
and remove the prior version of the socket software. Then I'd try the
driver installer again.
