I'm looking into a budget nVidia card for a new build. I was considering the 7300GT PCI-e x16 256MB as a solution. I play a few games, Doom3, Q4, Need For Speed MW, other than that it's used for photo editing and general office type stuff. Will this card offer me enough power for what I need to do? Any suggestions are welcome. The new mobo is an ABIT AN9 32X.

Thanks!

As long as it's the 7300GT with GDDR3, it'll do fine. It's actually a great budget card. Don't get the GDDR2 version though. You get faster core and memory speeds with the GDDR3 version. you could do better for a bit more money. What's your GPU budget?

EDIT: had to add a few things.

Everyone wants cheap card to do well at games, but in the end if you want best gaming at higher resolution or to play next year's games (we don't know how long this card needs to last), you should consider moving up to the 7600 series.
