I know lots of PSU are "Sli Certified" and "Quad Sli Certified"... my question is, would these kind of PSU be "Crossfire Certified" as well then?

Im getting a PC power and cooling 750W PSU that according to Nvidia is not only Sli Certified, but Quad Sli Certified as well... does that mean this PSU would work for 2x Sapphire x1900xt 510mb video cards working on crossfire as well??

I know is stupid and the question is probably "yes"... but you cant never know too much.

There's nothing stupid about the question. While there are some people who might respond in a less than polite fashion, there are plenty of people who would be glad to help..like mpilchfamily did.

I hate all this lame marketing-speak these comapnies come up with to con you into thinking you need to replace your PSU.

"SLi certified" is just marketing-speak for
"Its got enough watts and connectors to drive an sli rig"

There's nothing special about double/triple/quad/grande/venti sli-certified power-supplies other than the extra cost you pay for the label.

There's no extra circuitry or anything. You can run SLI/crossfire on any PSU with enough watts output to drive it all. Theres no difference.
