NFS Porsche: Cockpit Resolution

Hi all!

I've just installed NFS Porsche on two differenz computers. The overall
performance is excellent, all graphics and textures are fine - except
the cockpits. Those are displayed with a very low resolution, that has
nothing in common with the package screenshot.

PC1 is a P4/2.8 GHz, 512 MB RAM, Nvidia TNT2 M64 (32MB RAM), PC2 is a
Acer Notebook P4M/1.5 GHz, 512 MB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 9700. Both
run under XP/SP2. I've tried different screen resolutions from 800 to
1280 at 16 and 32 bit - without any success.

Then I've visited a lot of NFS related online communities and found some
postings describing this "bug" - but no solution. I don't know if there
are more infos available, so I try to ask here ...
