I currently have 2x512 (pc3200) sticks of RAM in dual channel mode, if i were to buy another stick of 512 or maybe a gig of ram would it affect the preformance of the dual channel pair??

Thanks in advance for your replys.

No one can really answer this question for you unless we know what memory controller you have. You need to give us your northbridge/CPU so we have a chance of telling you the answer.

I've heard the same rumor SS was telling you about. Some NF2 boards claimed to be able to do this.

Still not there. The Athlon64s have the memory controller on the chip itself. What version of the 3200+ do you have? (run CPU-z if you aren't sure.)

lol i cant run CPU-Z cos the darn computer is broken :? it was my power suply that went so when i get a new PSU I thought i may as well upgrade the RAM aswell to save on postage later on. but it is a Venice core however i'm not sure if its 1.4 or 1.35 volts, so i would asume it is the 1.4. thanks
