Mute/Unmute Line in with Scheduler

Anyone know if there is a command line function in win xp to mute/unmute the
line in/mic on the sound card.

I am recording a radio program that starts at midnight using Replay Radio.
It works great but I have to manually remember to unmute the line in before
I leave the office.

Would be cool to use scheduler to do this.
