I have a linksys wps54g printer server and am looking for recommendations
for a multifunction printer, print/copy/fax/scan, that can be operated
through the printserver. Linksys says they only support printing and no
other functions. Any recommendations? Thanks

You can't really operate everything via the printserver you have.
Simply put, it's a print server, not a scan or fax server. There are
not really standards for such things.

I know nothing about this device. Never met one, never used one. It's
not a print server but more of a network usb hub, so in theory it's
designed to act transparently. In theory you can pick your favorite all
in one unit and use this to share the printer on the network, in theory.

Otherwise any network printer will do the trick.. i.e. something that
doesn't use the usb port.
