I have a E6600 + Asus P5N32 SLI SE Deluxe going to use 2 9700gs cards in sli which ram would be best heard the 800 is overkill or what kind of gain will I see over the 667? which of the below is the best or do you recommend something else?( I will be doing a little over clocking.)
OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel timming 4-4-4-15.or
OCZ Gold Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) timing 4-4-4-12
Also, what is the difference in the platinum and gold, version 2 verses version 1? Does anyone have any screen shots or their settings for any of these rams?( to help when I set-up the bias.)and wat is the best heat senks for this set up
sorry for all the questions it is going to be my first build.
Thanks.

Last week I built the Asus P5N32 SLI SE Deluxe with the OCZ GOLD DDR2 PC5400 667 mhz 4 x 512 I purchased earlier this year for an earlier build. I had problems right away and experienced errors on memtest 86. I returned the board. I have this RAM which is the version you listed I believe.

This RAM will work great in the Asus P5N32 SLI SE Deluxe. HTH.

I read that you will see better performance with ddr2 if you get the higher clocked memory, rather than the lower latency. Go with corsair xms 800. I've got the corsair xms 667 and it works great, at the time I wish I would have spent the extra for the 800.
