EIDE secondary drive audio problem..

When I installed a new 250GB EIDE drive in my computer a couple weeks back, everything was working fine with storage and everything, but I never tested out playback of audio until now and realized that its choppy and skippy. And I have no idea why its like that on that secondary drive. If the file is moved to C drive it works fine without chops/skips.. could somone solve this dilema of mine?

have you enabled DMA ?

DMA if available is enabled on both drives

It would be good to let us know what your system specs are and how you have the drive connected to your system. The last time I heard of something like this windows was running the drive in "compatibility mode".
