Video/GFX Rig???

First off... thanks 2 every1 who gives up their time to help newbz0rz like me with pc advice :mrgreen:

Any hoo... Looking at a new video/gfx editing rig, and if it could handle Oblivion well that would be good too.
Main Q i have is... for video editing does the chipset nforce/9xx make a diff???
Id assume Nforce is better for games.

Ive sort of settled on:
E6600
Mobo? ASUS/ECS Nforce?
2GB Ram (decent stuff)
300GB x2 Raid0
7900GT (one of)
1600x1200 LCD (bye bye Oblivion)

Ne way... NForce/Intel prob wont make a diff @ all.

Chipset wont make a difference.

If your doing video and want Oblivion, I can't recommend an X1900 enough though.....

the 7900gtx is a great card for oblivion.however the best card for oblivion is the x1900xt.so i would go with that.and point in fact i am going to it on my next build.goodluck.
