I am using Windows Mobile 2003 SE.
I originally had my pocket PC to sync with outlook, however I have decieded
that some company emails I don't want hanging around.
I deselected "Inbox" from Activesync, however the emails are still in the
pocket pc messaging application, as well as my folders... How do I clear
this information? the "clear outlook email" option is greyed out.

When you deselect Inbox, Activesync will delete all your emails. However if
this did not work for you, Just save all your files on the desktop, perform
a soft delete, re-sync without selecting inbox (to get other data like
contacts)
Then copy over the saved files back to your device from the desktop.

By soft delete do you mean hard reset, or soft reset? A soft reset is just
hitting the reset button on the back of the machine, right? I tried that,
and it did not clear the information. The only thing I can think of is a
hard reset, and I will lose all my information on my device...

Resync Inbox with Outlook, but configure Outlook to only do one day.
The emails you talk about should be older than that by now. You can
then deselect Inbox from ActiveSync. AFIAK, whatever little sync'd
over wll remain on your Pocket PC until you hard reset. I had a
similar happening on one of my Pocket PCs. 3 months after unchecking
Inbox, the PC still had that last sync on it.

Well, if J Ravalia posted how it is *supposed* to work, then yeah, I'd
say it is a bug because I've never seen it work like that. ;-)
