Just bought a HP A1610N PC (AMD 4200 X2, 1GB DDR2, Nvidia 6150LE) I also purchased a stand alone ATI Radeon X1300 PCIE card. I installed the card but haven't plugged in & powered up my system.
How would I go about disabiling the 6150LE onboard chip?
Thanks, is disabiling through the BIOS pretty simple to do? This is my first time going from onboard to stand alone. On my old system, someone else did it for me.
When you boot up your computer, it well tell you what key to press to get into the BIOS. Probably F2 or del or something along those lines. When your in the bios look snoop around for a list of onboard devices and video should be listed there. Simply disable it and you should be good to go.
when hp blue comes up,try f8? then esc...thats how my hp worked.go into advanced from bios...then video to pci-e hope this is right...close to it anywho
