cant change memory mhz to higher than 200

I have an epox motherboard, with corsair pc4000 memory that should be able to run at 250 mhz with the timings 2.5-3-3-6

Well I can set the timings but setting the freq mhz to "auto" shows it running at a measly 100 mhz, and I cant go above 200 mhz. what gives?

I have 2 one gigbit sticks of CORSAIR TWINX2048-4000PT

It seems like your motherboard simply doesnt allow anything higher than DDR 400...
