What I really want from Santa is a PSU with:
1) Very close to silent operation. No worries on the airflow as I'm placing it in a wind tunnel enclosure with a 305mm Katrina blowing on it 24/7.
2) Minimum 750W of real power on the rail, not just some sticker on the box. 1000W would be even better.
3) 110/220V manually or auto-switchable.
4) Cables that are longer than Dirk Diggler's Johnson so that I can actually place the PSU more than an inch away from the HSF!
Why do I need such a killer PSU? I'm configuring (for next year) a C2Q system with top-of-the-line D3D10 video and at least five big HDs. I'll need every watt!
