Notebook RAM: DDR2 533 (CAS4) or DDR2 667 (CAS5)

OK, I'm so confused... which is more performant? With regard to notebook RAM, DDR2 533 with CAS 4 or DDR2 667 with CAS 5? That doesn't make sense why they are like that.

I'm talking about getting 2 1GB chips for my notebook.

They should perform about the same. At most there will be 1-2% difference.

The benefits of a each would pretty much cancel each other out. And if anything, on a laptop youre more likely to be limited by the GPU rather than the ram, so i'd plump for which ever is cheaper.
