Anybody have a clue why my Sidewinder USB Force-feedback controller
wont work? It can steer, but the trottle and buttons don't work. I
tried everything in the options panel, but it just wont recognize
it...

i'm getting weird behavior from my sidewinder too(not force feedback
thought).
in the beginning I had problems because the pad was setted to do everything,
steer, throttle and brake, once figured this out everything seamed to work
perfectly but every time I reboot I'm now accusing steering problems, some
sessions I have problems making the car steer to the right while to the left
works perfectly other times is viceversa.

You think that's bad, I cant program the axes on my Saitek X52 coz it wont
let me onto the Joystick pane of the configuration page! So Imp stuck with
accelerate and decelerate on the twist of the handle! If it were on either
the throttle or the y-axis I could cope, but on the twist (z-axis)???
