Another dumb question

Does anyone know where I can purchase copper foil that is used to hold the electronic thermometer to the heat sink on the cpu? I had to take mine off when changing out mobos and now they don't hold the thermometer anymore.

You can purchase copper foil tape at any stained glass supply store. If you only meed a small piece, go to a store that does repairs and offer them a quarter or so for a small piece of tape of their open roll.

This is probably the closest thing you can find at a resonable price. But the tape dosn't have to be metal.

I think I may have thrown away an old roll of aluminum foil :roll: :lol:

If I can find a piece or 2 of it, that'll suit. It sits on an indented portion of the heatsink, so it should be ok.
