Why would you want to use that memory in the first place??
If you are asking me why I would use the Corasir PC6400 you should ask OP not me. I am not suggesting He use Corsair or any other brand, where did you get that idea? I answered OP's question. The G. Skill PC6400 RAM I use overclocks perfect with every move I make so far. Runs well in excess of 800 mhz. Why. Even Wusy told you the RAM I suggested is superior. And in fact it is superior and recommended so by a G. Skill technician's own words.
Dindnt notice and just hit the reply buttom geez!
OF COURSE your modules are better for overclocking, it has lower rated voltages (newegg got it wrong idk why) than one im recommending, therefore it puts up with more voltage giving it more room to reach higher speeds.
It is also more expensive, its $300 for the 2GB if im not mistaken. I would pick the Patriot modules for $275 instead of that (all newegg prices).
Given that they both use the same Micron D9GMH chips
they both will reach 500Mhz at CL5 wich is the $/performance point in trying to recommend here.
Runs well in excess of 800 mhz.
WOAH! so it runs at
DDR2 1600! That is impressive!
You meant 400Mhz, DDR = Double Data Rate, remember?? n00b
