from looking on the net and hardware stores, it seems that the 7600 GT is a PCI-E card not a AGP card like the best bang for the buck artical says it is.

any info would be great. (even nvidia says the 7600 gt is a PCI-E card)

Actually the card has both AGP and PCIe variants.

Where in Canada are you?

Different 'local' sites;

NCIX.com (Stores in BC)
Canadacomputers.com (Stores in Toronto)
TigerDirect.ca (they have a store in Markham).
MemoryExpress.ca (Calgary)
Dangeo.com (Calgary)
ShopRBC.com (Ottawa)
ATIC.ca (Vancouver)

NCIX is an nV launch partner so you might wanna check there for anything special and for special deals. But the GT in AGP is hard to find.

Special order only;
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=20744&vpn=A7...

Good Deal site for Canada;

redflagdeals.com

and...

THG's leftovers (exclusive Winnipeg location by invite only :twisted: )

Here's some free info, trust those of us who know, not what you read elsewhere on the .net

I've never heard of an AGP variant of the 7600GT.

The nvidia site says PCI-Express, as the OP noted.

http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce_7600.html

By the way, I have the evga KO version with the larger heatsink, and am very happy with it. I don't plan to do any oc'ing with it, otherwise I would have bought the reference model, the CO, with a smaller heatsink, and replaced it with some fancy cooler.

But I'm not a gamer :p

And, so, who are you and why does anyone care what you don't know? :roll:

Why did you buy a card yourself that doesn't exist on nV's site?
Shame on you. :tongue:

Seriously you guys should stick to consoles if you don't know how to take advice and use it to edjumakate yourserlves instead of continuing to be ignorant in the face of additional information.
