Hi...im doing my first build and i recieved my COOLMASTER HYPER L3 Cpu LGA 775 Cooler.....Does anyone know about this Cooler?

My question mainly is...I noticed that CORE 2 DUO comes with a CPU Cooler...since this is my first build I had no idea that the package comes with a stock cpu cooler...lol......Aside from the fact that i already purchased a new cpu cooler, now i am wondering if i would have been just fine & better off using the cpu stock cooler that the core 2 duo comes with.

I really dont intend to overclock, since i never done it before...do u think i spent money for nothing on this coolmaster hyper L3 cooler when i really could have saved my 30-40 bucks...
