Why don't you want SLI? Are you into Crossfire? Or do you just not want the ability to go dual-graphics period?
You could try the Asus M2N-E. Built on an nVidia nForce570-Ultra chipset, so there's no SLI. It's basically the non-SLI version of my board, and I have no complaints other than the inability to overclock past 2158MHz.
But you will have trouble finding a board good for gaming that doesn't have the capacity for two video cards.
The MSI K9A looks like a promising Crossfire board. Or, just on the off chance you suddenly don't mind having SLI, I recommend my Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe.
