Looking for a good gaming Mobo. Has anyone used any that are stable and fast. I don't want SLI but socket 940, AM2 board will do unless you have any other ideas. I find there is a better choice of stable board in the socket 939. Please give me some leads so I can check them out. Bruce

Why don't you want SLI? Are you into Crossfire? Or do you just not want the ability to go dual-graphics period?

You could try the Asus M2N-E. Built on an nVidia nForce570-Ultra chipset, so there's no SLI. It's basically the non-SLI version of my board, and I have no complaints other than the inability to overclock past 2158MHz.

But you will have trouble finding a board good for gaming that doesn't have the capacity for two video cards.

The MSI K9A looks like a promising Crossfire board. Or, just on the off chance you suddenly don't mind having SLI, I recommend my Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe.

Good luck.
