Hello,

I have C2D E6300 at stock.
Speedfan shows Temp1 and Temp2 as -1C and Temp3 as 28C.
Are temp1 and temp2 the two core temps?
When I tried intel Thermal analysis tool it shows both the cores as 48C.

1. Why speedfan is not showing temps for both the cores, does this have to
do with the connections
2. What is Temp3 in this case, is it the average of both cores?
3. If Intel thermal analysis tools is correct then both the cores are at high temps right? What can I do to reduce these temps.

Is this due to power supply, I have a generic power supply and plan to replace it with a better supply within a week.

My room temp is abt 28C

From what I remember, Speedfan doesn't support C2D correctly because of chipset support. The author needs more info perhaps to update the software.

Your prolly better off with other software that support C2D.
