I am trying to pick all the components for a new Core 2 Duo build. Before I order anything I want to make sure that I am not buying something that is not compatible with the other components. If you see any glaring issues please let me know an alternative. Only major components listed:

Mobo: Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6700
Memory: Kingston DDR2 667 (pc2-5300)
OS: Windows XP Pro X64 edition

I know some models of the Mobo are still shipping with the old bios that needs to be updated to run the C2D. I have also read that DDR2-800 will run on that Mobo after the Bios update but I haven't seen any solid info. Does anyone know for sure?
Thank you for any input or help.

Ok, Thank you.
I choose Kingston because it was listed on the Mobo manual as being certified. I usually like OCZ or Corsair, but neither were listed as certified. I will look at DDR2-800 ram.
Again,
Thank you

Just wondering... What's the benefit in using XP 64? I know of some downsides, but I actually never looked into the benefits.. Hope this question doesn't make me look too stupid :)

By the way, what about storage?

I changed my mind about XP pro 64 and am gonna go with XP pro OEM, it was the same price as the XP 64, but less hassle. I will wait for Vista.
I changed the Ram to CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel

For storage I am getting a new 10k RPM 74gb drive, and a new 7k RPM 320gb drive. I also am using parts from 2 existing machines for audio card, dvd drive, cd-rom drive, and possibly a raid setup. I haven't decided. I have 4 hard drives currently, though I will probably only use 2 of them in my new machine along with my Mountain Mods UFO case.
