I can't vouch for the r800 but the r300 runs fine on them.

R800 needs EPSON PIGMENTED INK OR IT SURELY WILL CLOG AND YOU WILL BE
OUT THE MONEY. IF YOU WANT TO LISTEN TO OTHERS IN THIS NG HAVE THEM BUY
YOU A NEW PRINTER FIRST.
