Geforce 7600 GT AGP

After reading the article I was intereasted in getting the Geforce 7600 GT AGP to replace my old AGP card that just died, however I can't find this card anywhere. Every link I found says this card doesn't exist in AGP. Can anyone help?

i do believe you can find a 7600 for agp,just not sure of its actual designation.i believe it's called the 7600GS,not GT.so look up the GS and you should be able to find it.goodluck.

They had it for a while then it was out of stock, as of a few days ago it was in stock again. They have only one it is made by Leadtek and it had a price of $172.00.

Decided to check while I was writing this and now they are not listing one anymore and a search of the net doesn't show anyone else selling any right now either.

Bummer, I was wanting to get one too for an older P4 3.0 ghz with AGP only. I have an AMD 64 X2 4200+ for my machine but I also have a socket 478 P4 3.0 HT Shuttle XPC that has some life left in it with a Vid upgrade. Right now it has an ATI X700 and it's lagging on some game and the 7600 GT would give it a nice kick.

Yes AGP is obsolete. However many people have perfectly good machines thay are not ready to upgrade yet or can't that have AGP. I have several PC's, my main PC is an AMD X2 with PCI express. I also have a few machines that are still good for many things including some gaming. Take for instance the socket 478 P4 3.0 Gigahertz Shuttle XPC I mentioned in my earlier post, it has 1 Gig DDR 3200 memory, 250 Gig WD IDE 7200 RPM 8 meg cache HDD, DVD RW, Internal multi card reader Floppy, Wireless NIC and it still has some gaming life with a Vid card upgrade. It's still a good machine. Not as good as my AMD X2 but still a good PC.

My brother has an ASUS neo ? with an AMD 64 3500+ and an AGP ATI 9700 Pro and 2 Gigs DDR 3200 and SATA RAID. nothing is wrong with his PC that a Video card upgrade won't fix and by the time he Needs to upgrade we'll all be using DDR2 or 3 and the next gen of CPU, whatever that may be.
