Chrome

Hello,
Does anyone know how to get Chrome completly off of Windows 7 Ultimate? My wife has 32bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate and my grandson installed Chrome on it. When I removed it though the control panel it really didn't remove all because it is still in the registry and any links from Outlook fail trying to get to Chrome. Surfed the net and can't find anyone that can tell me how to remove it. Best solution so far was to leave it on but make IE 9 the default browser and then the links work but you are wasting space with Chrome on the machine. Any help?
