Windows configured Wireless card tweak question

On my 802.11G windows configured card I have problems playing games online. I get a small 1 second lag spike during gameplay. I'm on a new machine now that has window xp pro 64 on it. My old machine had a netgear b card that did not do this with the manufacturer drivers, but would lag spike every so often using the windows automatic configure thing. I have no option to be able to use manufacturer drivers on my x64 machine because there are none released for anything yet. Is there something in the windows xp pro 64 card configure tab I can do to reduce this lag problem? The only numerical changes i can make are RTS threshold and Fragment threshold which are both set to 2347(RTS) and 2346(Fragment). Thanks.
