I haven't built a computer in a while, so I am behind on the technology, anyways, just looking for some opinions on if this is a good build, the only thing I am not sure about is the compatability of the RAM and the mobo with the voltage and timings...

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz $317.99

Intel BOXDG965WHMKR Socket T $129.99

Crucial Technology Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 $299.99

SAPPHIRE 100168L Radeon X1900XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 $249.99

As far as I'm concerned with audio, I'll prob just use the onboard on the mobo, but as far as the basic componants, does this look good? Total price, $997.96

BTW, I purchased 2 Seagate 320G HDD which I am going to use in this.

looks very nice, but don't you want to be a bit more generous with the mobo since your other parts are high end? the intel looks sort of out of place amongst the rest of that list.

Have fun thats a nice machine none the less

If you're into overclocking, switch to the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
