Hi everyone:

I have a new machine with a MSI 965 Neo - F motherboard and a Pentium D 945.

I have it attached to a Thermaltake Cooler with some Dynus Silver Compound.

I had this same cooler hooked up to a D805 and got idle temps in the 28 degree C range not using the silver compound though.

When I hooked up the 945, I'm getting idle temps around 18 degrees C or 65 degrees F which is about 4 degrees below our ambient house temperature right now.

Under running 1 copy of Prime and Norton Virius Scan as well as Ewido at the same time I can get the temp up to a steady 37 C.

Does this all seem really low to you folks?

Thanks for any replies.

Mike

Guys thanks for the replies.........Is there any way to adjust the temp sensors?

Should I try a differnt program to look at the sensors....any suggestions?

Thanks from a Noob.
