I am really curious to know if anyone out there used a (low end) flat bed
scanner for professional (publication/print) work successfully (will be
acceptable). If so which type of scanner have you used or would like to
advise?

We all know we can't match the specs of high end scanners but would be
interesting to find out if any of the low end will do a acceptable job.

Perhaps rate it of 10

When I say low-end I mean things like-

Epson Scanner:
Epson 1670 Photo Perfection
Epson 2450 Photo Perfection
Epson Perfection 2400 Photo
Epson 4870

Canon Scanner:
Canon CS8000F
Canon Scanner
Canon CS3200F
Canon CS5000F
Canon CS9900F
Canon D646U
Canon FS4000
Canon LIDE20
Canon LIDE30
Canon LIDE50
Canon LIDE80

HP Scanner :
HP 2300C
HP Scanjet 2400
HP Scanjet 3670
HP Scanjet 3970

Thanks

Faruk
