Hi, anyone familiar with resetting the netscreen firewall?

I just need to reset it but pressing the the reset button doesn't seem to work. I've read the documentation and it says that I can try putting in the serial number as the login id & pwd... but it still doesn't work. I think the resetting feature for the firewall have been disable.

Anyone know how i can fix this?

Hi,
I've tried that already. Apparently, there's a command to disable the reset function. The CLI command is : unset admin device-reset

So, the only way ow is to enter te right password, which nobody has. The firewall's as good as trash... i'll probably use it as a paper-weight.

Try putting in the serial number as the username and then put it in again as the password and that will start the reset procedure.
