i have a 256MB gecube 9600pro(yeah i know its crap) :(
9600pro's r supposed 2 be good oc'ers. up to 50% more speed.

mine is OC'ed with Atitool.
stock core - 400
stock - RAM - 200ddr

my speeds are 435/220. not that much of an improvement.

how can i change the voltage with gpu's?
how much more speed do u think i could get out of it with stock cooling?
how dangerous is changing voltages?

I don't have alot of soldering skill, at least I don't think I do :) But if you practice a few small solders on an old piece of PCB from anything, you should be ok. Still, be ready to replace the already aging 9600Pro if it doesn't go well.

If you aren't ready to replace it, don't try a volt mod, just to be safe.

But the first and only time I tried it, it worked like a charm, but was only for fun. Never planned on using the card for daily use. Though I still have it somewhere and I'm sure it still works!

Good luck, sorry I couldn't find a guide on google, though I didn't dig too deep.

y is it that a volt-mod is needed to change voltage.
y cant it be done in the BIOS?

there is an AGP over-voltage setting to raise the voltage. y cant i just use that?

i know i cant but y?
