My Charter broadband connection was down for awhile last night. This morning,
after resetting my Linksys wireless router, all was well again. However, my
iPaq 4155 with wi-fi wouldn't log on. As it turned out, when I reset my
router, it disabled WEP, which was still enabled on the PDA. Resetting the
router configuration back to WEP restored the connection. Sometimes it's
not always obvious where the problem lies, and the fix is often very simple.

I'm sure you didn't need to RESET your router. All you needed to do was
unplug it and plug it back in. When I do this with my Linksys, it maintains
all my settings including WEP.

Frank,
Actually, I first unplugged the router and plugged it back in. That got my wired
PC's online again, but not the iPaq.. Resetting the router was my second choice.
