Not that I would buy this myself, but I include this for those still casting doubt on how serious Dell is about going AMD.
Received in the mail today at my office a Dell mass mailing trumpeting the AMD option. No mention of Intel anywhere on the card:

New Dell(TM) Demensions now available with AMD (TM) Athlon (TM) Processors.
In big letters: "It's all about CHOICE."

Dell Dimension C521 desktop
A quiet, space-saving system, customized to meet your needs.
$479

Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 processor 3200+
Genuine Windows XP Home edition
Windows Vista (TM) capable
Microsoft Works 8.0
512MB shared DDR2 SRAM
80GB SATA hard drive
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Graphics CPU
16x DVD-Rom Drive
QuietCase technology helps ensure quiet operation
Integrated 10/100 Ethernet
1-year limited warranty, 1-year on-site service
1-year hardware warranty support
Price includes 15-inch E156FP flat-panel display

Bottom right of card has a good-sized AMD 64 Athlon logo (twice the size of the Dell logo), and the words "Leading-edge performance on today's and tomorrow's software."

Seriously, this thread is garbage and the poster has just lost all credibility... WHO CARES???

Post this on AMDNews' Forums or something.

Please guys, enough with the translators. :p

I am going to clarify my position on Dell: They are GREAT for super cheapo systems, and maybe laptops. Otherwise it's better to build it yourself.
