Most of us, well myself and co-workers, didn't know what the hell they were trying to show.

I mean, if they would've used those "multiplied" people doing something, like one cooks, one does laundry, one cleans windows, etc, it would've made more sense, then some people dancing around.

Overall, I thought it was okay, not dancing bunny suit good, but better than those damn blue men ads.

My understanding of the world has been knocked on its head.
Why? Because of this, the Inquirer actually produced a truthful article.

How does this represent enterprise computing again? Wow.

I'm pretty disappointed in them. They're not worth the kind of money spent on creating them :/ I think the commercials with the different celebrities sitting on people's laps like laptops was better than this.

Damn Intel really Sucked themselfs this time, If 2 Birds were shown being killed with one Rock(Pentium D 805) it would have been a much more Appealing commercial Atleast it would have gave a hint of what to do with their 805's after being replaced by a Core 2 Duo (Allendale Cores Mostly)

intel should do marketing that clearly shows the core 2 as the processor that's replacing the pentium 4. if people could understand that core 2 is basically your pentium 5, all the average joe's would be asking for it.

You know the commerical I really enjoyed -- and whose commercials I will likely continue to find really well done --- Apple.

The Richard Dreyfus (sp?) narration of the 'Think Different.' was just brilliant in my opinion.

JackI loathe the new Mac/PC ads, with the arrogant young guy as Mac, and older out of shape loser as PC. The commercials make PC owners look like dorks. :x

I hate those too, but if you hate them, you'll probably love this...

it looks like these (core 2) ads were the product of someone who had this specific ad in their head and just used it on the first product that it was approved for. it could be a shampoo ad. or levitra. or pop tarts. truly, its use here is an acknowledgment by intel that they simply don't need to advertise. (which, really, is true).

and since someone mentioned "1984", i had to pull up my copy of it and watch it, as I do from time to time. that's a great ad. i well remember watching that game just to see that ad - as so many geeks did. probably set a record that day for highest number of 6502 assembly programmers to ever watch the super bowl. Excuse me now while i go post a message on the BBSs about how cool that ad was.

These latest TV ads for C2Q prove that Intel's ad agency is composed of latte-quaffing Gucci-loafered coke-nosed buttheads. If they really wanted to get the point across all they'd have to do is run this:

haha, the new mac ads are ghey, but mac users are funny...I have a friend who self pwns himself all the time, he is a hardcore mac user and has never owned a pc (and probably never will) but hes also a hardcore gamer and does most of his gaming on his mac  trust me, I've tried to convert him several times, the conversation always goes something like this:

ME: "macs suck for games d00d, u could build a kick ass gaming pc for 1/4 what u paid for your mac"
HIM: "PCs are ghey"
ME: "99.99999999% of mac games are just ports from PC, so they run like ass even on top of the line macs"
HIM: "PCs suck"
ME: "there are like 1000x more games for PC and you can actually find them at normal stores"
HIM: "my mac has dual procs"
etc
etc
etc

maybe he'll get somewhat smart and get a C2D mac and dual boot XP
