Currently i received this spec for a writer. but i dont know what brand or type is this. please help me someone. if any of you happen to know what it is, kindly email me at sycnum_tech@yahoo.com or leave a reply here. your help is much appreciated. thanks in advance!

It's a common spec of a CD writer. You could take a chance and guess like I would be doing or email the person back and ask why they would do something so idiotic as send you the spec without telling you what drive it is in reference to. :roll:

im doing an assignment. so i have to find it. im from asia. im not sure if this can be found in other region. the only drive i found is panasonic and HP. but the drive speed is not the same. if you have any ideas or suggestions. please let me know. the hard part is the speed and the SCSI capability...

Is the assignment entitled, "Gray areas".

It sounds like an external Plextor CD-RW drive. They were known for being high performance scsi back in the day.

Never owned one. When you have the tab I have at the escort service Plextor is out of reach.
