I have tried to install a Linksys WAG54GS router but my PC doesn't find it when I connect it via ethernet. The router appears to be working correctly. The ethernet light at the PC remains a constant yellow, what does that mean. Im at my wits end, why isnt my PC finding the hardware, is there a problem with the ethernet port. Windows help centre is useless. Someone please help

Have a look in Device Manager. Is the card installed correctly or does it have a yellow exclamation mark ?

What is the make/model of your network card ?
Is it an inbuilt card ? If yes, what is the make/model of your motherboard ?
