i have a celeron 2.6ghz in one of my computers. :cry:
full specs are:

Cleron 2.6GHZ s478 :(
Soltek mb(not sure on the model)
512DDR-400 generic RAM
OC fx5200 gpu :(
80GB WD HDD
450watt generic psu

It is on stock cooling and runs about 45load.
I don't know anything about overclocking celerons coz no1 ever talks about it.

yea its crap i know but its my second computer, or the family computer.
I only use it once a month or so for playing LAN games.
so its good enough 4 that

any help on the OC'in?

P4 overclocking guide

A Celeron is essentially a 533MHz FSB P4, so all the rules apply.

I'm checking XtremeSystems for a P4 overclocking guide; I'll link it if I find one.I think that Celeron is 400FSB. Since it's likely an older motherboard, it probably doesn't have a PCI/AGP lock. So you'll have to keep an eye on your HDD, Video card,NIC etc. You probably won't be able to take it much beyond 120FSB, assuming that you have adequate cooling. You don't want the FSB much over 120, as that will give you a PCI speed of 40MHz and 80MHz on the AGP bus. If you go over 40MHz PCI bus, your HD can start corrupting, and eventually even croak. GL :)
