Anyone? I read the review of the asus product and the netgear switch but according to the review, the asus has a primitive set of features, the the netgear switch won't uplink with my current router with jumbo frames enabled.

Anyone know of a router/switch combo that will do jumbo frames?

Only good when using gigabit if not already aware.

Max MTU should not exceed 9000 MTU. Ethernet is 1518 max, preferably slightly lower.

Normally jumbo frames are supported on higher end equipment for LAN use to actually achieve gigabit. You're going to have to look at something better than SOHO equipment.
