We have the audiovox xv6600 pocket pc phones. We are currently able to
sync just fine with our exchange 2003 server. the problem that we are
experiencing with the phones is that afte activesync has completed its
sync it does not disconnect from the internet. This is totally killing
batteries. they may last for three to four hours. Has anyone figured
out a way to get activesync to disconect from the internet on it own.
yes I can press and hold the end call button to get it disconnected. I
rather not have to do this every time a new message comes in.

In ActiveSync on PC tab press Options button. For 'When syncing remotely'
make sure you chose the option to 'Disconnect when done'.

No the only thing that i have been told is buy lots of batteries and to
look around for a program that auto disconnects when no traffic is
being sent. Sorry for not being able to give much more than that. I
have been searching the groups and calling and asking for quite some
time now. I still have not been able to get this fixed. Hopefully
someone of importance who does programing will make the necessary
changes.
Sorry.

Joel,

I am using a Samsung i700 with Verizon with Windows Mobile 2003, and mine
does the same thing. Have you found a resolution?
