i have a amd 939 k8n neo4 platinum mobo, not the sli version. my problem is whenever i put a graphic card on, the computer couldn't startup. (the system can running without a graphic card find) then after i push the power button for several times, there is a small memory close to the 6-pin, this things catch fire and burns out!!!
i have change 3 graphic cards since this happened. i don't know what's wrong this board, it makes me crazy!!!! my power supply is fine, a 500w ultra x-connect. could some one help me!!? this strange things start to occur two month ago after i burn out my first evga7800 gt, and i didn't overclock it. help!!!!
my system is
MSI K8N neo4 platinum
audigy 2 zs sound card.
ocz pc-4200 1gb (512x2)
ultra x-connect 500w
It sounds like a PSU problem if you burned out the ram near your 6 pin power connector. Most likely an over volt on your PCIe power connector. Your EVGA card may have taken out the PCIe slot when it fried.
