More Information

Hi everyone. Hopeing someone has some experience with this and can tell me what happend. I have a Intel D845GB mother board with a P4 2.2Mhz. I know it's old. Originally it had a CD ROM Drive in it. I had a spare DVD RW at the office a NEC ND 1300A. I simply just installed it and off to the races ... well sort of. I installed the latest drivers .... note the model for the MB and DVD are both discontinued but all I get is a CD ROM. It will not read DVD's at all. I looked up intel's instructions about the Motherboard thinking it might be a BIOS setting but I can't get into the BIOS using F2. There is nothing on the boot that gives me an option into the bios, not even a memory check.

Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this MB and Drive. I'm hoping it is something simple like maybe a jumper fell off or something ... although I don't have any spares if it did. Anyhow if someone could give me suggestions it would be appreciated.
