Good cheap PCI video card for Hot Pursuit 2?

Hi all. I am currently using a TNT2 Pro 32 MB embedded video controller (SiS
650) but Hot Pursuit 2 is crashing almost consistently at the end of each
race. The PC is a P4-2.6GHz (Gigabyte MB) with 1 GB RAM.

I want to add an entry-level 128 or 256 MB 3D graphics card to improve
performance, but don't know which to choose. I was going to buy an
XpertVision GT6200TC but cannot find a PCI interface version (only PCI-E).
The AGP version is a bit expensive.

Any suggestions? What will work well for NFS games without breaking the
bank?

Just to give you an idea. I am running NFS on a 450mhz Athalon
with an ATI Rage Pro Turbo (mach64 chip). Just an indication of
what you can do with less than cutting edge technology. If price
is your motivating factor you may want to consider a used ATI
card.

If you don't have a
PCI slot, you should consider an ATI PCI card. These were considered
one of the best PCI based graphics cards.

Or if you could find a good used Voodoo 4! I had a PCI Voodoo 4 card and
NFS PU and IV looked AWESOME!
