I have a 7600 GT and Hyundai L90D+ 8ms LCD monitor. I've noticed the DVI looks clearer than the VGA connections(has both). But for some reason some games will not even allow me to use 1280x1024 res! WTF, that's them monitors native res yet some only allow up to 1024x768 even though they allow higher res on VGA connection. BF2 originally did this until it was patched, i'm having this problem with 2142, is there any way I can get it to display 1280x1024 or any setting that might be prohibiting this?

Just a thought, but you have actually installed nvida drivers right? Get the latest ones from www.nvidia.com, and don't use the old ones you get on a CD with your video coard.

is bf2142 the demo? it may not support that resolution?
